Arrival
We will meet you at the airport and start Caucasus tour - take you to a hotel in Baku. Overnight in Baku.
Baku Tour
We will start Azerbaijan tour with a visit to the Baku old town - "Icheri Sheher". Walking through the narrow streets you will see wooden balconies overlooking the cobbled streets. We will visit many sights and hear interesting stories about Baku. Soon we will approach the Museum of Miniature Books, which in 2014 was included in the Guinness Book of Records as the largest collection of miniature books in the world. After exploring microscopic books , we will visit Shirvanshahs ’Palace, dating to the 15th century, which was declared to be a world heritage site by UNESCO. Our next destination will be the oldest building of the city The Maiden Tower - fortress, which is considered to be the main symbol of Baku. No one knows exactly when The Maidan Tower was built or why it was named that way. The mystery adds charm to this sight. We will pass an antiques shop, beautiful exhibits on the shelves and colorful carpets.
Then we will visit the Baku Carpet Museum, which has a very creative building. After seeing the eye-catching carpets we will go to Baku boulevard, which is the second largest in Europe. You will also have the opportunity to take a boat ride on the Caspian Sea, take photos of the largest lake in the world. and look at beautiful Baku from another angle.

Baku-Sheki
After leaving the hotel we take the road to Sheki. On the way we will pass The ancient town of Shemakha. From the road we can observe desert landscapes first which are soon changed by beautiful landscapes of Azerbaijani villages below the main Caucasus range. Upon arrival in the city, we will visit a local restaurant where you can taste delicious Azerbaijani dishes.

Sheki – Gremi Castle – Kvareli Wine Tunnel – Telavi
After breakfast we will visit Sheki Khans ’Palace, which is the most distinctive Azerbaijani monument of the 18th century. The facade of the palace is painted with beautiful paintings showing war scenes and geometric patterns. In the center is a huge stained glass mosaic stained glass window with up to 5,000 pieces of glass per square window. We will explore the palace while walking through the halls full of small windows made of colored glass and rooms which are different from each other. After visiting Sheki Khans's Palace, we will visit the local museum to get to know the spirit of Azerbaijan through the archeological and art monuments presented there. For lunch we can taste traditional Azerbaijani dishes including Piti made of lamb and sweet Sheki Pakhlava with tasty Azerbaijani tea (chai). We will visit Sheki bazaar where you can buy natural fruits and vegetables. After that we will set off for Georgia.
After crossing the border we will go directly to Kvareli where we will visit the wine tunnel - soviet time longest wine storage and restaurant where you will have a guided tour and wine tasting. Our next destination will be the 16th century castle of Gremi. Then we will take a photo of Gremi. One of the unique feature of Georgian churches is that they blend into the surrendering nature. Gremi is one of the great example of that.
The day will finish in Telavi, in the center of the region. Overnight in Telavi.
Tsinandali – Small village for lunch – Sighnaghi – Tbilisi
We will leave Telavi in the morning and drive to Tsinandali. We will visit Tsinandali Palace that surprises all guests with its beauty with its beautiful garden and a historic winery. Next, you will be able to experience the Georgian traditional supra (meal with toast making) – at a local chacha (vodka) maker. With toasts, dishes, barbeque and songs you will create unforgettable memories.
After that we will visit Sighnaghi town - the city of love, which is full of beautiful streets, old-style architecture and interesting sightseeings. while visiting its streets, we will breathe the pleasantly warm air of Eastern Georgia, you will take beautiful photos with colorful carpets hanging on the wall. We will walk to the Sighnaghi walls - historical walls that surround the whole city. We will look down to the huge Alazani Valley and enjoy the beauty of Kakheti.
After that we will arrive in the capital of Georgia, Tbilisi. Overnight in Tbilisi.
Jvari Monastery – Svetitskhoveli Cathedral – Uplistsikhe – Stalin Museum – Tbilisi
We will start the day by visiting Mtskheta - the old capital of Georgia. Our first destination will be Jvari Monastery (6th cent.). Jvari is also very popular because of its magnificent view. From here you will see the beautiful landmark of the confluence of two rivers. Then we will walk the narrow, old architectural style streets of the town. Browse handmade products displayed on small counters. Then we will visit Svetitskhoveli Cathedral - UNESCO World Heritage Site, known as the place of Tomb of Christ Robe.
The next destination will be Uplistsikhe - an ancient rock-hewn town, which contains structures dating from the Early Iron Age to the Late Middle Ages. You will travel back in time while exploring this sightseeing. The daily life of ancient Georgians will be revived in front of your eyes in this open-air museum. We will move from the landmarks of Georgian ancient history and visit the Museum of Joseph Stalin, the leader of the Soviet Union, in Gori. After a delicious lunch we will return to the capital. Overnight in Tbilisi.
Military Road Sights - Gergeti Trinity Church
In the morning we will make our way to Kazbegi via a military highway. Our first stop will be Jinvali Water Reservoir - the lake, which was created during the Soviet era. The blue color of the water and the greenery of the beautiful nature create an amazing contrast.
Very soon after continuing the road, we will visit Ananuri Fortress – a castle and a seat of the Eristavis (Dukes) of Aragvi. The architectural treasure of the feudal times in Georgia is located next to the Jinvali Reservoir.
Our next destination will be wonders of Georgian nature. The merge of two rivers – black and white Aragvi. They merge but the colors still contrast with each other. After this sightseeing, we will reach the Friendship Monument located near Gudauri resort and Jvari Pass (2379m). Also called as Gudauri panorama, It depicts scenes from the history of Georgia and neighboring Russia. This place is distinguished by a panorama of the Devil's Valley in the Caucasus mountains. Fresh air, enormous round stone arch, huge mountains - all of this will make you wonder if you really are on planet Earth.
Later we can continue our journey to Kazbegi, where we may need to change cars to reach Gergeti Trinity Church. The temple is on the top of the mountain (2170m), from where the view of the whole region and there is iconic Mt Kazbek (5.047m) peak -3rd highest mountain in Georgia behind. It’s symbolic viewpoint where you will feel the tranquility, the magic of the Caucasus Mountains, gorgeous panorama, and best in any season.
After that we will return back to Tbilisi.

Tbilisi Tour
We will start our tour from Tbilisi, the capital of Georgia which is a combination of European, Asian, and Caucasian cultures. Newly built pedestrian glass and steel bridge with bow design - Peace Bridge is an attraction that should not be missed in Tbilisi. It will be our first destination.
Our next destination will be the Mother of Georgia’s monument. We will reach this sightseeing with a cable car. The monument is located on a hill overlooking the entire city. After enjoying the view we will visit Narikala Fortress - the main defensive structure of the city.
The main symbol of Tbilisi is the sulfur baths so this will be our next destination. Ottoman’s period bathhouses and sulfur smell around will immediately make you feel the vibe of old Tbilisi. Through this amazing atmosphere, we will reach Leghvtakhevi - a 14 m high waterfall in the heart of Tbilisi and enjoy the views of old Tbilisi balconies in the shade and fury of the waterfall.
The day will end with Georgian gastronomy and art. You will taste delicious dishes accompanied by Georgian music and traditional dances.

Haghpat – Dilijan Resort - Haghartsin Monastery – Sevan Lake – Yerevan
After crossing the border of Armenia we will start tour in Armenia and visit Haghpat Monastery which is a UNESCO Heritage Site. The monastery was a center of education in the past. Manuscripts were copied and processed here. Monks could study medicine, science and art at Haghpat. You will find yourself in the center of Armenian culture.
Then we will drive to Dilijan - a popular resort in Armenia. It is famous for its amazing landscapes. Sometimes it is called the "Armenian Switzerland”, due to the dense forests and mountains. There are many monasteries and nature sightseeings near Dilijan. You will feel the mild climate of north Armenia and breathe fresh air. In a hilly area we will visit Lake Sevan, one of the most beautiful lakes in Armenia. If you visit Sevan in the spring, you will find an amazing landscape - bloomed plants, their gentle scent, and the blue lake immersed in this environment.
Tavush region is rich in both natural and historical monuments where the monastery complex of Hagartsin, one of the monument of Armenian medieval architecture is located. Complex represents an amazing mix of architecture and nature, because it is surrounded by beautiful green forest. you will visit a chapel, dining hall, bell tower, library and monk’s cells.
The day will finish in Yerevan, where you will be able to have dinner in a traditional restaurant.

Yerevan – Garni – Geghard – Yerevan
We will start the day with a tour of Yerevan, the capital of Armenia. We will take a walk on Republic Square. Where the National Museum and Government House are located. You will find here buildings with distinctive architecture and streets with both local and many tourists. Then we walk down Mashtoc Avenue and hear more about the capital. We will visit the heart of Yerevan, the Cascade, where all open-air cultural events are held. Panorama of Yerevan can be seen from this place. You will be able to take amazing photos here.
After enjoying the view we will head east where we will visit the classic Hellenistic temple of Garni. The temple is a symbol of pre-Christian Armenia. Looking at this distinctive architecture, you think of yourself in ancient Greece. Continuing down the road, you will be amazed by the huge cylinders forming on the enormous rocks. This place is called the Symphony of Stones (Garni Gorge).
As we continue along the path we will notice the Geghard Monastery located at the cliff. Monastery is a well preserved and great example of medieval Armenian architecture. With every second spent in this place you will feel the millennial history of Armenia, which lives forever in every stone of this temple. Then we will return to Yerevan and in the evening you will have dinner at a restaurant with a cultural program.

Tatev or Echmiatsin – Khor Virap – Noravank Monastery – Yerevan
On this day we have two alternatives.
The first is to travel to Tatev. In this region you will completely get away from the noisy environment of Yerevan. The mountains and green nature will make you feel amazing. The wings of Tatev - the world's longest cable car (6 km) will double this feeling. While hanging in the air, you will look at the beautiful landscapes of Armenia, take unforgettable photos and breathe the fresh air. The last destination of the cable car is Tatev Monastery. There are three churches on the monastery grounds. During medieval times Tatev Monastery was a center of scholastic, and spiritual activities. From this place you can look at the landscape of breathtaking mountains and dense forests. After that we will return to Yerevan.
The second alternative is to take the road from Yerevan to Echmiatsin - the theological capital of Armenia and the seat of The Catholicos of Armenians. Nowadays, in Etchmiadzin you can find post-Soviet quarters, factories, and ancient churches. While visiting this small town, you will go back to the past of Armenia, because everything around you will point to this period. This town is easily attracting all kinds of visitors - from the religious tourists to the ones interested in Armenia’s history.
Our next stop in case of good weather will be The most visited pilgrimage site in Armenia – Khor Virap first established in 642. The monastery is built on a rock. Its name in Armenian language means "deep dungeon". As soon as you reach this place, you will immediately notice the snow-capped Mount Ararat (5137m) on the horizon, which overlooks the whole Armenia.
Then we will visit the Noravank Monastery, which was built in the 12th century. In 2002 Noravank Monastery was listed in the UNESCO World Cultural Heritage sites. There is a uniquely beautiful nature around the monastery. Here you will have the opportunity to take photos of the high red cliffs and deep gorges.
Finally we will return to Yerevan.
