Jvari Monastery – Svetitskhoveli Cathedral – Uplistsikhe – Museum of Stalin
We will start Exotic tour in Georgia from Mtskheta - the old capital of Georgia. Our first destination will be Jvari Monastery (6th cent.). Jvari is also very popular because of its magnificent view. From here we will see the beautiful landmark of the confluence of two rivers. Then we will walk the narrow, old architectural style streets of the town. Browse handmade products displayed on small counters. Then we will visit Svetitskhoveli Cathedral - UNESCO World Heritage Site, known as the place of Tomb of Christ Robe.
The next destination will be Uplistsikhe - an ancient rock-hewn town, which contains structures dating from the Early Iron Age to the Late Middle Ages. We will move from the landmarks of Georgian ancient history and visit the Museum of Joseph Stalin, the leader of the Soviet Union, in Gori. After a delicious lunch we will visit Rabat Castle - a castle complex of Asian style in Akhaltsikhe. Recently renovated Castle is the perfect place to take stunning photos in the background of its stunning eastern-styled towers, shining mosque, charming palaces and fountains.

Hike to Lomis Mta
Hike: 12 km 1150m up 300m down
In the morning we will drive to Borjomi Park Administration visitors center, will register there, take sleeping bags and pads and hike to the Lomis Mta mountain - one of the unique place to visit in Georgia. Hike follows off the beaten path - Likani river gorge, then it quickly starts ascending to a beautiful pine forested area, further up, some of the best views from Meskheti mountain range awaits us. We will sleep in a wooden cottage in the heart of beautiful nature. We need sleeping bags as the beds in the cottage are wooden and basic. However, a warm stove, delicious Georgian wine and vodka will keep you warm. Here we usually prepare hot meals together, drink, talk and create unforgettable memories.

Hike to the top of the Lomis Mta and back to Likani
Hike: 17 km 550m up 1400m down (In case of strong hangover in the morning, going uphill +250m 2-3km one way is not mandatory)
Our exotic tour in Georgia will continue to this day, we take the path from the cottages to the top of the mountain from where the beautiful natural landscape can be seen including higher Caucasus and lesser Caucasus summits. After enjoying the view we will descend to Likani, then a short drive to Borjomi Park to swim in the sulfur pools of Borjomi. This water has health benefits, but moreover swimming in the open air pools adds to already incomparable experiences of these two days in Borjomi.

Tmogvi Fortress – Vardzia Cave Town – Village Chachkari – Akhaltsikhe
In the morning we will drive to the Vardzia area which is historically the most important and interesting gorge. Nature here is also different, rocky and exotic. First we will visit the medieval Tmogvi fortress built on a tall, rocky mountain overlooking the Kur river gorge. From there we will walk to Vardzia where we will visit the cave town where we can find the main church, bell tower, cave dwellings, chapels, pharmacy, and wine cellars - dated to the Bronze Age. The 2hr path goes through village Chachkari which has old dwellings of people in caves, also old remains of vine trees and oldest winepress in caves. There is still population in Chachkari village and they can tell us how their ancestors lived in cave dwellings and made wine. After visiting the ancient sights you will drive back to Akhaltsikhe and taste delicious local Qvevri (traditional clay pots used to store wine) beer - Amphora in Aspindza.

Green Lake – Khulo Cable Car – Makhuntseti Waterfall – Batumi
Then we will visit the beautiful Green lake on the Goderdzi pass (2025m). The lake is green during the day and changes color in the evening. The road to the lake passes through charming Adjarian summer settlements with breathtaking views.
Our next destination will be Khulo Cable car - A soviet-era cable car offering a ride in the village of Tago River Valley (1.7 km). Again views and hospitable people will amaze us.
Makhuntseti Waterfall will be our next destination. It's authentic with the restaurant below the waterfall. This way we will slowly descend from 2000m to the sea level and will make it to Batumi in the evening for a night walk.
Batumi is one of the most popular and visited cities in Georgia. While walking in the beautiful streets of Batumi, we can visit Piazza Square, take unforgettable photos with the statue of Medea on Europe Square. We can also take a walk along Lake Nuri Geli and the Neptune Fountain.

Batumi – Batumi Botanical Garden – Mtirala National Park
We will start the day by walking tour on the seaside boulevard of Batumi. We see the remarkable sights: the Alphabet Tower on which all Georgian letters are depicted, the statue of Alice and Nino - lovers from the famous Caucasian bestseller novel embracing each other. We will go to the fish market where you buy freshly caught sea bass fish and have it fried for you.
Our next destination will be the Batumi Botanical Garden (can be skipped in case of late start) where a variety of tree species from different parts of the world are presented. From the garden, you can enjoy an amazing view to the sea. Another half an hour drive and we will reach Mtirala National Park where we will walk to the Tsablnari waterfall (28m).
It is wet and moist air, nature is so green and exotic, it feels tropical. Mtirala means crying, so this is the mountain with the highest amount of precipitation in Georgia. Chestnut forest trail which passes through the lake and waterfall is an easier hike in nature and will occupy only half of your way (only 7km). Colchic box trees, a variety of flowers, picnic spots, exotic villages, you will find yourself in the wonderland.

Kutaisi – Bagrati Cathedral – Sanatorium Medea – Tskaltubo Park – Prometheus Cave or Okatse Canyon and Lomina Lake
From Batumi, we will go to Kutaisi, Once the capital of Georgia and one of the largest cities. We will visit Bagrati Cathedral - an important monument of Georgian culture and a symbol of the strength of Georgia. The panoramic view of the whole Kutaisi can be seen from this location.
After leaving Kutaisi we will visit the abandoned Soviet Sanatorium Medea in Tskaltubo which is distinguished by its architectural beauty. After visiting the sanatorium we will take a walk in Tskaltubo Park. For lunch, we will visit a local restaurant or winery where we will taste delicious dishes. Then we have two alternatives, to visit the magical Prometheus Cave full with stunning stalactites and stalagmites or take a walk along the cliffs to Okatse Canyon and visit the beautiful Lomina Lake with its small waterfall, which is another less touristic and exotic destination.
Overnight in Martvili or Kutaisi.
Toba Waterfall – Oniore Waterfall – Martvili Canyon
On this day we will have an option to hike to Oniore waterfall. We will take a local transport from Balda to reach the waterfalls nearby. Then we will need a 6km walk each way to reach the waterfalls. First we will reach Toba waterfall and cave. The waterfall is the tallest (234m) cascading waterfall in Georgia. the entrance of the cave opens along the cliff. We will not try to access the cave because it may be dangerous without special equipment, however we will enjoy the beauty of the waterfall and move to the next waterfall nearby.
The second but more impressive (as it's not cascading one) Oniore waterfall combines the cave and both underground and outside flowing waterfall totalling 67 meters of height.
Afterwards we will explore the area, take photos, enjoy the untouched beauty of Georgian nature and get back to Balda village. If time allows Martvili canyon visit will be possible before departure to Tbilisi.
Guests will have an alternative to choose an easier route. First to visit an amazing Martvili canyon and enjoy the boat ride in the beautiful green gorge. Also they can visit Salkhino garden and winery. The palace is located next to the home of a variety of wine grape, Ojaleshi. The next destination will be Balda Canyon which is a perfect place to swim and is not yet so touristic. The length of this beautiful canyon is 1400 meters. Kaghu Waterfall is close to Balda Canyon, a perfect place for swimming, picnic, photo shooting or just relaxation in a beautiful nature.
Overwhelmed by the beauty of Georgian nature and full of unforgettable memories from the trip, we will finally return to Tbilisi.
