Our first destination during the family tour in Georgia will be Holy Trinity Cathedral, which is the largest orthodox church in the country. Then we will drive to chronicle Georgia, which is a 16 pillar monument overlooking the Tbilisi reservoir. Each pillar tells us individual stories from the Bible or country’s history.

Then we will have a Lunch and drive towards the Kazbegi region. We will stop the car on the way to look at the amazing Devil’s gorge at the monument of friendship located near Gudauri resort and Jvari pass (2379m), also called as Gudauri Panorama.

In the evening we will arrive in Stepantsminda – center of the region.

Overnight in Stepantsminda.

After breakfast we will visit Gergeti Trinity Church. There is the iconic Mt Kazbek (5.047m) peak - 3rd highest mountain in Georgia behind it, clearly visible in good weather. It's a symbolic viewpoint and you feel the tranquility, the magic of the Caucasus Mountains, gorgeous panorama, and best in any season.

Then we will visit Elia church which is on the other side of Stepantsminda where you can see the whole town, the hill on which the amazing Gergeti Trinity stands and giant summit, guarding the area, behind it.

For lunch we will go for an amazing experience – Georgian traditional food “Khinkali” workshop. Locals will show you a unique technique of making Georgian meat dumplings - Khinkali. You will be able to do it yourself, learn more about Georgian mountain culture and drink a few shots of Georgian vodka (Chacha).

After lunch we will drive to the old capital – Mtskheta. First we will stop at Ananuri castle - a castle and a seat of the Eristavis (Dukes) of Aragvi. The architectural treasure of the feudal times in Georgia is located next to the Zhinvali Reservoir. Landscape photos taken from this place are always impressive.

Then we will continue our journey and reach Mstkheta in the evening. We will drive to the hill where Jvari Monastery, built in the 6th century, is located. From here sunset is amazing due to the amazing view of the conjunction of 2 rivers Kur and Aragvi.

Overnight in Mtskheta.

In the morning we will drive to Kutaisi – One of the oldest cities in Europe. Our next destination will be Martvili Canyon where we we will have a boat tour in a green gorge. Then we will visit Kaghu waterfall which is a perfect place for relaxation in a beautiful nature. After that we will visit Okatse Canyon where we will take a walk along the cliffs and overlook a beautiful gorge.

Overnight in Kutaisi.

In the morning will drive to the Rioni gorge where you will experience rafting in the wild river. The canyon of river Rioni is full of greenery. You will get unique emotions which will keep in your memory as an unforgettable experience for you especially if you are together with your family or friends.

Before driving to Mestia we will have a lunch and visit Motsameta Monastery. The monastery complex, built in the 8th century in honor of the memory of the great Georgian warriors, is built on a steep cliff next to the river Tskaltsitela. Then we will drive to Mestia – a town in the mountainous Svaneti region where we can have a dinner.

Overnight in Mestia.

In the morning we will continue our family vacation tour to Koruldi lakes (2600m) with jeeps. From the top you will have a perfect view towards Ushba summit (4710m) - two-headed devil also called Georgia’s matterhorn.

Then we will visit Chalaadi Glacier, birthplace of the wild river. Then we will drive to Hatsvali cable cars to reach the upper station on the mount Zuruldi(2347m). From the top the view is magnificent - you will see the amazing view of the Svanetian part of Caucasus mountain.

Overnight in Mestia or Heshkili huts.

In the morning our first destination will be Tetnuldi resort from where we will take a look at the beautiful landscape of the mountains and breathe the fresh air of Svaneti. Then we will drive to Ushguli (2200m) - the highest permanently inhabited village in Europe where we will  take pictures of a beautiful night sky full of the stars (If it is good weather).

Overnight in Ushguli.

In the morning we will have breakfast and a long drive back to Kutaisi. On the way we will stop at Zagaro pass and enjoy the views towards Ailama summit(4547m). Then we will visit the magical Prometheus Cave full of stunning stalactites and stalagmites with colored lights in dark halls.

Overnight in Kutaisi/Tskaltubo

In the morning we will drive to Tbilisi and visit the old town where we will take a walk from the newly built pedestrian Peace Bridge. Then we will go to the Mother of Georgia’s monument with a cable car. The monument is located on a hill overlooking the entire city. After enjoying the view we will visit Narikala Fortress - the main defensive structure of the city.

Then we will walk to sulfur baths and reach Leghvtakhevi - a 14 m high waterfall in the heart of Tbilisi and enjoy the views of old Tbilisi balconies in the shade and fury of the waterfall.

Our next destination will be Rezo Gabriadze Marionette Theater which has a leaning tower - famous photo place for tourists.

Finally we will visit a mall for shopping, have dinner and drive to the airport.
